Robo Aleste 2, a.k.a. Dennin Aleste 2 (電忍アレスタ2) is an unreleased sequel to Robo Aleste developed by Compile. The game was reportedly under development in 1993 and had a few artworks published on Japanese gaming magazines of the time. It was originally scheduled for release during the fall of that same year but was silently cancelled for undisclosed reasons.
Details[]
Robo Aleste 2 would be set during the Tokugawa era, 40 years after the first game. The artworks show the new protagonist, a 17 years old female ninja named Mai (her three sizes are 79/57/83), along with her own Aleste, as well as four enemy Alestes, one of which would be piloted by a rival character. The protagonist of the previous game, Kage Okami, would also appear in some form, likely as an NPC character.
The player's Aleste would be smaller and nimbler than the previous one, being around 7 to 8 meters tall. The options would work differently from the previous game, with the player being able to attach them to the Aleste to turn it into different forms, each form having its own gameplay style.
