Raz is one of the protagonists of Super Aleste.
Story[]
Raz is one of the pilots of the Earth Allied Forces who was send on the offensive against the Sphere. Piloting a Aleste fighter, he was shot down and felt down in the middle of the South American jungle, but his attack allowed one of the lifeforms trapped on the sphere to escape. This lifeform merged with his wrecked ship and restored it, giving it new weapons.
Raz entered the new ship and noticed a girl on the backseat, who identified herself as Thi and pledged Raz to help her liberate the planets under the Sphere's influence to weaken it, so they could enter it. After the Sphere's core is defeated and all lifeforms trapped on it are liberated, Raz returns home with Thi by his side.
