Mountain Railroad is the third stage from Robo Aleste.

After defeating the Imagawa Army, the Aleste reaches the high mountains, where a large train is carrying supplies for the Alliance. This stage has three distinct sections; in the first the player must fight enemies while avoiding the avalanches coming from the sides which can kill instantly. After this section the supply train will appear, being armed with various turrets which must be destroyed, as well as mechanical arms which shoot at the player and robot enemies protecting it. Once the train is gone another mountain section begins, with many cannon turrets which shoot at the player.
