M2 Co. Ltd. is a Japanese video game developer and publisher. The company was founded in August of 1991 and is headquartered in the Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo, Japan. The company is best known for their various emulated rereleases of old games on modern consoles, including the Virtual Console titles and Sega Ages line, as well as their M2 ShotTrigger series. They have recently acquired the rights to the Aleste series and are producing a new entry in the series titled Aleste Branch.
