Culmination is the final stage from Aleste 2.

After defeating the mothership's defenses the Aleste 2 invades it, but the interior is of course well defended against invasion, with many laser-shooting turrets and shutters which attempt to trap the player. Halfway through you'll fight two Verglans as a mid-boss.
