Cruel Sea is the fifth stage from Aleste 2.

The Aleste 2 escapes from the alternate dimension, only to find the sea overrun by plants. Lots of large plants and grounded installations will impede the player's progress, shooting lots of bullets everywhere. Halfway through you'll fight three of these tall plants as a mid-boss.
